Raised in the Blue Ridge mountains of North Carolina, country artist Andrew Beam learned roots music at its actual roots — bluegrass festivals, church socials, and front porch get-togethers. A Clemson alum, avid fisherman, and serious bowhunter, Beam built a devoted fanbase from the Southeast to Texas on the strength of albums like “Selma by Sundown” and “Lowcountry.”

Our story began in 1951 when the late Carl Simpson Jr. opened the very first Simpson Hardware in Camden, SC. Fast-forward over 70 years (time flies!) and the fourth generation of the Simpson family operates five locations throughout South Carolina. Expanding beyond hardware, we carry everything from clothing to sports and hunting equipment and much more. A lot has changed over the years, but one thing remains the same: our commitment to excellent customer service.
